Providing Early Childhood Care/Intervention

PACE Connection Uganda

At PACE Children’s Center, 45 minutes outside of Kampala, 80 children visit ‘Miss Betti’ daily for a meal, for education, and for a safe place to gather.

PACE is now supported by St. John’s Lutheran Church in Michigan! Their monthly support allows doma to provide for PACE:

Mosquito Nets:

All the children are vulnerable to malaria. When children fall ill with malaria, it can be a matter of hours before they die. By purchasing $10 mosquito nets for at least the 76 children at PACE, doma can spread protection, safety and peace, preventing the spread of disease.

Food:

The children are able to receive 2 nutritious meals each day. If their bellies are full, they are more able to fight disease and to learn well in school. This will be a catalyst to prepare them for success when they enter young-adulthood.

Health:

Our children in Uganda lack the necessary medical attention needed to grow properly. doma will be able to ensure all the children at PACE have access to vitamins, nutrition, and adequate medical care.

Communication:

The members at the sponsoring church are now able to share life with these children by writing to them. Their life, stories and love will encourage them, giving them joy and hope.

YOUR CONNECTION:

By giving to doma, you are providing these precious people access to life!  You are giving them access to food, to family, to healthcare and to safety.  You are providing doma with the resources to educate the children, to give them food and clean water.
